[Video; Action in Vermilion City]

[If you look in the background, you might see what looks like the wall of a hospital. Athrun himself is also dressed not in his own clothes, but rather a hospital gown.]

I don't know whether or not word about what happened in the gym in Vermilion City the other day...but it came under attack. I tried to stop it, and I did manage to, but I couldn't stop it from taking some damage. I don't know what happened to the perpetrator.

I apologize if this holds up anybody else's challenge. I know mine has been held up, as...you might be able to tell. Don't worry, I'll be all right.

Did the doctor tell you when he expects me to leave the hospital?

Miki was listening to the music when the doctors were talking. [ That's a no. ]

The doctor told me that he expects me to be released by Wednesday. But they always overestimate these things; I'm sure I'll be back on my feed on Monday.

Wednesday? That's a while from now, but Miki can be patient. [ Ignoring that whole bit about getting out on Monday. ] Hmm.... What about visiting hours?

I don't know what the visiting hours are, but that's easy enough to check. Just ask at the main desk or look for a sign near the entrance.

Guess Miki doesn't have to follow that curfew anymore. [ Hee! ]

[Just because Athrun is in the hospital doesn't mean that that doesn't apply any more.]

Miki's Pokemon are growing up strong too. [ He's just lucky she doesn't use half of her team to put him to sleep... ] Yayoi and Hayate are both here, so Miki can stay with them.

Wait, they are? I had no idea they were in Vermilion City, too.

[Of course, Athrun's last conversation with Hayate ended on a sour note...]

That's right they are. It'll be lots of fun to spend time with someone who gets Miki's tastes and sense of style.

Yayoi's into the same things? I mean, I know you're both idols, but the two of you are a lot different from each other.

[ Not particularly, but hanging out with an idol is better than breathing in stupid hospital air. ]

Well, you have different demeanors. And Yayoi seems more interested in food from a culinary standpoint, rather than...an eating standpoint.
