[Video; Action for Vermilion City; backdated to yesterday evening]

[The feed opens up to a gorgeous sunset over the ocean. The sky is a brilliant red, the sinking sun is reflecting off the glittering waves...it was like what one would see in a resort commercial. The recorder seemed to be standing on a pier of some sorts as well, so there were multiple ships around.]

Pretty amazing, isn't it? With scenes like this, it's no wonder Vermilion City is known as the Port of Exquisite Sunsets. Don't worry, Yayoi, I'm saving this for you.

[With that, the camera turned around and showed Athrun, who was wearing his Orb military uniform. The sky behind him was a beautiful dark blue.]

I think that, out of all the places in this world, Vermilion City is the closest thing to where I live back home. It's good to be by the sea again, and there's plenty to do in town. If I truly am stuck here, I think this is where I'll want to live once I've beaten the Elite Four.

Out of curiosity, does anybody else here have a place like that? A place that resembles their home or that they'd like to live?

Also, on a different note, can anyone tell me about the gym leader here? Going by the sign near the gym, I suspect he uses Electric-types, but one can never be too sure.

Also, one more thing. Is he really a lieutenant?

Though I can't complain 'bout my team, they are quite loyal to me and I'm happy for 'at.

A pilot, uh? What do you pilot back at your world, Athrun?

I'm a mobile suit pilot. Imagine a humanoid robot, nearly twenty meters tall. That's what I pilot.

That sounds pretty amazing. You must be pretty skilled to being able to move that kind 'f thing.

That's simply how far our technology has advanced. At any rate, people back home consider me skilled enough to let me have a custom unit.

[Naturally, he's being modest. He's arguably the best pilot in his world.]

Are there any other pilots besides you here? Must be really nice to have someone to talk with 'bout stuff like that.

There's one other. His name is Shinn Asuka.

Mmm.. Don't think I've met him, but then again, this place is really big sometimes.

It is. He spends most of his time in Goldenrod City, though. He's with the Breeding Centre.

It's been a long time since I visited Goldenrod.

Oh. Yeah, that would take up plenty of time. I'm on hold regarding that, myself. Some friends of my traveling partner recently arrived, so she demanded we stay in one place long enough to let them get closer.

I'm not in a rush to get 'em, it's kinda nice to have them slowly. They sometimes provide a good challenge.

[ NO, UR. YOUR TEAM IS OVERPOWERED. ]

I'm finding it more satisfying now in that regard. Now that I qualify to challenge their elite teams, I never feel too overpowered.

Sounds kinda nice. How are their fights over there?

I think it's a little too early to tell. So far, the only Kanto gym leader I've challenged is Sabrina.

I thought you had battled some more. How is her challenge then?

She uses a team of Psychic-types. I won by exploiting type advantages -- my starter is a Bug-type, and I've got multiple Ghost-types and a Dark-type. It was still a good challenge, though.
