I'm sure you all heard the threat delivered over the network. I, for one, don't care about the threats he's made to anyone who tries to stop him. I'm betting on the odds that he's bluffing, for one, and I'm more than capable of handling anyone who tries to stop me.

If it's all right, I'd like to take charge of our counteraction. I've got experience with explosives, and since these are controlled by radio, all the better. However, since there are multiple bombs from the sound of it, I'd like the help of anyone else within our group who's experienced with explosives or with electronics.

To the rest of Squad 5, I want you to take care of the evacuation. Make sure everyone inside the Game Corner gets out in an orderly fashion and keep a stampede from breaking out. Once the building is completely evacuated, I want you to help locate the other explosives.

If anyone finds them, DO NOT attempt to disarm them. If you can dispose of them without disarming them or setting them off, go ahead, but otherwise, call myself or another person on disarming duty.

You're the explosives expert here; how big of a range do you think we're dealing with for the trigger?

Given that the radio tower here in Goldenrod is already broadcasting on multiple frequencies, and the sheer size of the city and the fluctuating electrical currents that would cause, I'd imagine the bombs share receivers -- if they're not all connected to one receiver -- in order to cut down on unnecessary electromagnetic interference. That means they'd have to be not only close to each other, but to the intended target.

And close to the man with the trigger. [Frown. Golden's a huge city, but they have to start somewhere.]

Which means we have twenty four hours to dispose of the bombs quietly before he finds out. Not long to find him and take him out.

No, it isn't. It might not be a bad idea to use his colleagues to find out where he is, though. If he's not bluffing about his threat to people working to stop him, we could use some volunteers as bait to draw the others out and capture them. In the meantime, those searching for bombs could start from the Game Corner and search in a gradually expanding circle.

That might work, but only if his colleagues don't see the searchers and go after them instead of the bait, or relay what we're doing to him and make him set them off early.

If your explosives aren't strong enough to take out the foundation, yes.
