Sorry, but could I borrow a moment of your time?

Lately I've been thinking about it, and because of the distances involved in travel here, and the difficulty in getting a Pokémon to fly you places, I've decided I want to open up a travel service here in this world. For now, it'd only cover Johto -- until I can actually get some exploration of Kanto in.

Of course, with the number of refugees here, I'd never be able to handle this all by myself. So, I'm looking for people that'd be willing to work for me in that kind of a job. All you need is at least one Flying-type -- and if you're a trainer, a Zephyr Badge. I have the necessary HM, and I'd be more than happy to lend it to you so you can help out.

Pretty much. Even with round trip flight time, travel time should still get slashed. Ideally, I'd have people on call across the two regions, so the nearest person can go get them.

It's an interesting experience. I was a pilot back home, so it's not much new to me, but it's still different.

No, not quite. I'm part of the military. We don't pilot aircraft.

Well...my world is much more technologically advanced than most of the other worlds represented here. So we possess greater fighting technology, too.

What I pilot is a type of humanoid machine designed for combat in both space and the Earth's atmosphere. It's called a mobile suit.

Well, but if you didn't have to fight. It'd be a really nice thing to have, wouldn't it? A humanoid machine that you could fly around in and take you out into space.

[ Glancing over at her Dragonite which has busied itself with... just kind of walking around the vicinity looking at things. ]

I mean, she's kind of supposed to be a weapon too, theoretically, isn't she?

Mobile suits themselves can't achieve escape velocity, but I see what you're getting at. It'd be better if they were used mainly for deterrence.

...I suppose you have a point with that.

It really isn't the weapon's fault people are using it to harm others, is it?
