[Athrun looks pretty distraught on the feed. He seems to be indoors, as well. He's been watching the news, so he knows about the Pokémon Centers in Goldenrod, Ecruteak, and Saffron getting destroyed.]

I don't know if everyone's heard, but there's been a series of attacks in three cities. It's all over the news.

Something needs to be done. I don't want to see any more attacks than those that have already happened. I'm going to start patrolling the city. Anyone else in Vermilion interested in helping can let me know; I'll take all the help I can get.

Neither have I...and it's frustrating. It's like they get more competent with each plot.

Sure seems that way. If we could turn something up, I'm sure that's all we'd need, but...

How much of Kanto have you guys searched, since you brought the subject up?

We've hit all the cities, and at least gotten a look at most routes. Despite trying to investigate, we couldn't find anything unusual though.

That just seems more suspicious than anything after all that's happened in this world.

Hm...

It's unlikely that they'd set up a base outside of a city. It'd be too conspicuous and inconvenient to their operations. It's like using a forest to hide a tree. So you probably won't find anything on the routes or in caves.

So the best thing might be to give the cities a closer look, in that case...

I remember somebody saying there was some weird activity outside Celadon, when those Legendaries were spotted.

...Wait, what? Legendaries? I haven't heard anything about that.

Really? Well, what I heard was someone spotted one of 'em and Team Rocket outside Celadon. If I recall, Twilight told me and she'd heard that from Hayate who saw what happened.

...Huh.

[Now he's wondering why he never heard about it.]

If that's the case, then I'd say there's a good chance that that's where they are...at least in Kanto.

I'll ask Riku if he can check it out, I know he's headed back to Kanto before I am.

Do we have anyone who's already in Celadon City who could investigate?

Hm... If I remember right, Arturia's in that area.

Anybody else? I'm reluctant to leave this kind of an investigation in the hands of one person.

[Not after that attempt of his own to sneak into Team Rocket's HQ back when they were still based out of Mahogany Town.]

I'll need to ask about it, there're probably people there I haven't gotten up to speed with. Riku'll be heading that way with Sora and Kairi, and then Xion's over there with Arturia.

Then it sounds like we'll have enough people over there. Wish them luck for me.
