[Video; Action for Vermilion City; backdated to yesterday evening]

[The feed opens up to a gorgeous sunset over the ocean. The sky is a brilliant red, the sinking sun is reflecting off the glittering waves...it was like what one would see in a resort commercial. The recorder seemed to be standing on a pier of some sorts as well, so there were multiple ships around.]

Pretty amazing, isn't it? With scenes like this, it's no wonder Vermilion City is known as the Port of Exquisite Sunsets. Don't worry, Yayoi, I'm saving this for you.

[With that, the camera turned around and showed Athrun, who was wearing his Orb military uniform. The sky behind him was a beautiful dark blue.]

I think that, out of all the places in this world, Vermilion City is the closest thing to where I live back home. It's good to be by the sea again, and there's plenty to do in town. If I truly am stuck here, I think this is where I'll want to live once I've beaten the Elite Four.

Out of curiosity, does anybody else here have a place like that? A place that resembles their home or that they'd like to live?

Also, on a different note, can anyone tell me about the gym leader here? Going by the sign near the gym, I suspect he uses Electric-types, but one can never be too sure.

Also, one more thing. Is he really a lieutenant?

I think the MooMoo Farm might resemble my home the most. I've never been there, but I came here from a small rural town, so just the name of that farm reminds me of my hometown.

And yes, that sunset over the ocean was amazing.

I see. It's a shame it's so far from th nearest towns, though. Perhaps you'll find another town somewhere with a more accessible farm?

Yeah, it is. It even outdoes the sunsets I've seen at Olivine.

Vermilion City is Electric-types, yeah. The old dude there uses an Electabuzz, a Magneton and a Raichu. Thunder is his big move, but if you've got, like, a Ground-type, you're good.

[ Miyuki unwraps a candy bar, looking thoughtful. ] If I have to live here, I wanna live in Cianwood. It's got a beach, but there's people there, too. I like Cinnabar a lot, but I guess since the volcano erupted, there's not a lot on the island anymore.

Mmm... I guess I would have to travel more to see the rest for myself, but I wouldn't mind living in Blackthorn City.

True, I might get bored without my workroom there, whenever I'm not being social or working with the animals. Maybe I'll just work there for some weeks and then I'll get back to a city. Or perhaps I'll really find another farm. ...Or get the HM Fly and teach it to my Altaria. [Wow, suddenly she has options. Usually she's just stuck in Resembool if Ed's stupidity doesn't happen. And she's going to get the HM anyway.]

Geez, I need to get into those cities someday to see the ocean and the sunsets.

That won't be an issue -- I have two. But I'll be challenging his elite team, and that doesn't sound like his.

Yep, same thing in my home where the whole house, including most of my room, is full of automails and everything a mechanic needs for her work.

Back at home I was an Ice Mage, so I trained my students in that art. Teaching them to understand ice... My methods are not for everyone, but those two did well.
